Robert catered our week-long family vacation, creating appetizers and dinners for 20 to 25 people each night for 6 nights. In a kitchen busy with our family flowing in and out, and children scampering about, Robert held the centre calm and friendly as he prepared food that was fresh, local, varied, imaginatively planned, and delicious ... each night a feast for eyes, nose and palate. Our family has had similar vacations across Europe, the Caribbean, Canada and the U.S., and our experience with Robert ranks him very highly among the international chefs and caterers we have engaged. My fiancee and I came to Gabriola to get married last May. We asked around the island and EVERYONE gave rave reviews about Robert's food.
Once chatting with him, he was able to do the catering for the wedding with just 8 weeks notice.. He was very easy to get a hold of, had a great menu, very flexible with our ideas and just a genuinely nice guy!
He was very thorough with set up and the fine details. His staff took care of us and our guests and made everyone feel special.. And the food..just absolutely amazing.. We are huge "foodies"- and we were so impressed.. We overheard our guests say "this is best wedding meal I've ever had- and I've been to hundreds of weddings."
He truly made our day very special, and my guests are still talking about it months later!!
